Stephen Tyler Armstrong
August 25, 1987 - October 30, 2017
Stephen Tyler Armstrong, 30, passed away October 30, 2017. He was born and raised in Venice, Florida. Growing up, Steve enjoyed baseball, swimming, sailing, and spending his days on the beach. Stephen graduated from Venice High School class of 2005 and went on to pursue his longtime interest of computers at Florida State University and graduated with degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Stephen exhibited impressive intelligence, strength, perseverance, humor, and the ability to overcome many challenges. He also displayed courage and was able to show those around him that everyday is a blessing. Stephen's life is truly one to be celebrated. His smile will be missed and he will forever remain in the hearts and memories of his many family members and friends.
Stephen is survived by his parents Robert Keith Armstrong and Sheryl May Kopsky; brother Johnathon Kyle Armstrong; grandmother Patricia Armstrong Ortlip; aunts and uncles Lee Armstrong Mann, John Armstrong, William Andrew Armstrong, Katie Armstrong Lind, Matthew Armstrong, and Patrick & Krista Armstrong; and cousins Christopher, John, Allegra, Teddy, Emilee, Robert, Molly, Maddy, Gracie, Logan, Barbara, Jamison, Elizabeth, and Timothy.
Services will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Friday, November 17th at 11:00am, followed by a brief reception at Grey Hall:
