Bill Gopsill went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 3, 2018. Bill was born in Long Branch, NJ in 1958 and moved to Florida in 1969. He attended Dunedin High School.
He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne (Simko) Gopsill. He was preceded in death by younger brother Robert. He is also survived by his daughter Brittany; son Robert; his father Gordon; stepmother Terry; sister Karen Retchless; his mother Carol Wills; paternal uncles: Ken (Sandra), Stuart, John (Pam), Norman (Pat), Don (Skip); niece Heather (Brandon); great nephew Ethan Demyan; many cousins and his lifelong friend of 50 years Phil Perry.
Bill had many talents and interests but found his true happiness being home with his wife and dog Rrisa. Though his family will miss him there is comfort in knowing that Bill is in heaven with our Lord. He accepted Jesus as his Savior many years ago.
