Tokarski, Bernice W. Lynn - Age 82, of Clearwater, Florida; formerly of Fenton, Michigan died Monday, August 5, 2019. A Celebration in her honor will follow at the Fenton United Methodist church, lower level, 119 S Leroy St in Fenton from 2:00 - 5:00pm.

Bernice W. Lynn graduated from Flint Technological High school in Flint, Michigan. She married Frank Tokarski on March 19, 1955. In 1968 they moved to Fenton, Michigan to raise their three children. In the early 70's when her youngest was in school, she found her calling selling real estate. Bernice started her career at Blanche Bekkering, moved on to Century 21 and later joined the Earl Keim office all in the Fenton/Holly area. She repeatedly reached the million dollar sales club and as her career progressed, she became a graduate of The Realtor Institute and later earned her Brokers license. She co-owned the Red Carpet Keim Aadvantage office for several years and rounded out her career with Sentry Realty. For nearly 30 years, one of the things she enjoyed most about selling real estate was her instinctive ability to help people and families find the perfect home. Many of her clients became longtime friends!

In the mid-80's she and Frank moved to Lobdell Lake in Argentine Twp where she enjoyed lake life, spending time with family and friends, tending her roses and flowers and traveling. Shortly after retiring in 1998 they moved to Clearwater Florida. After Frank Sr. passed away in 2002, she continued to enjoy traveling and time with her friends and family. She met Joseph Donnelly and they enjoyed spending time together. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and continued to travel annually to visit them.

At home her favorite place was on the front porch of her condominium visiting with friends and neighbors and enjoying her flowers. Bernice passed peacefully with her family by her side after a brief illness. She is dearly missed by her loving family and many wonderful friends.

One of her favorite sayings was "Give me the roses while I'm alive, not after I'm gone."

She is survived by her dear friend Joseph Donnelly, her son Frank & Kathy Tokarski Jr., daughters: Diana & Bud Marcum, Lisa & Bryan Neely. Her grandchildren; Douglas & Karri Spoelstra, Michelle & Kenny Rowe, Michael Spoelstra, Jason & Rae Lescoe, Jamie & Jaime Sweet, Jess & Ashley Neely, Heather & David Cox, Nicholas & Sidney Tokarski, Christopher Tokarski, Eric & Shelby Marcum, Ashley Marcum and 14 great-grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Frank Tokarski Sr., her parents; Thomas H. Lynn, Lura Opal Brown and her two sisters; Alma Jean Lagness and Laura Brabbs.
