Adam Richard Wirtz

March 19, 1944 - May 29, 2012

Adam Richard Wirtz- age 68 of Clearwater Florida, formerly of Port Huron, Michigan passed due to complications from Parkinson's disease, surrounded by family and friends on May 29, 2012. He was born March 19, 1944 to the late Adam and Hazel Wirtz (Loxton). Preceded in death by his brother Fred and sister-in-law Gloria, sister Marlene, mother and father-in-law Woodrow and Phyllis Rands. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Jean Wirtz (Rands); children, Tamera (Steven), Teresa (Joe), and Jason; grandchildren, Zachary, Dustin (Brittney), Hannah, Ashley (Bobby), Jennifer (Chris), Tiffany (Ricky), Joey (Laura); 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Adam retired from Marysville Chrysler Plant in 1998 after 33 years of service. A viewing will be held Saturday June 2, 2012 from 6 pm to 8pm at International Funeral Home 2689 Sunset Point Rd. Clearwater, Florida 33759. We want to give a special thanks to Suncoast Hospice and Advanced Rehabilitation and Health Center. He had many interests such as building and flying rockets with his grandkids. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family and attending church. He was such a kind hearted man that many people looked up to. If anyone needed anything he was the man you could run to. He will be greatly missed by many that crossed his path. He had a love for eagles and now he is soaring like one in heaven.
