Ashley LeAnn Canterbury, 32, of Poca, WV passed away suddenly on May 25, 2020. She lived in Clearwater, FL for the last 8 years. She was born on October 19, 1987 to Larry Canterbury and Teresa Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, her material grandfather, Claude Davis and her paternal grandparents Randell and Anna Canterbury. Ashley was graduate of Poca High School and West Virginia State University. Ashley worked for United Fire in Clearwater, FL. And she was an amazing roofer for many companies in Florida, something she was truly proud of. Ashley was always full of life, she shinned bright where ever went. She loved animals and she was an amazing artist. She never once in her life meet a stranger. She had a huge heart and was always willing to give her time and energy to anyone in need. Ashley leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Amanda Whitfield (Ken) of Mount Sterling, KY and Brittany Cart (Daniel) of South Charleston, WV, her grandmother, Judy Davis of Poca, WV, her niece Leona Whitfield of Mount Sterling, KY, Uncle, John Davis (Christina) of Poca, WV, Aunt Joyce Waldron of Cross Lanes, WV, her beloved dog Shadow and many cousins. Ashley will be cremated and sent into the ocean at a later date.
