David Robert Knapp

February 6, 1983 - February 6, 2019

David Robert Knapp was born on February 6th, 1983 at North Shore Hospital in Miami, FL to Kathi and Bill Knapp. Survived by his son David Knapp Jr., sister Jennifer Jerez, nephews Anthony and BJ Jerez. He grew up in Miami and Pembroke Pines, FL, making many wonderful childhood memories and friends.  He was very athletic, doing gymnastics as a child, playing soccer and hockey, winning many tournaments as a teen.  He loved anything nautical, boating, fishing and the beach. David loved and cherished his family, especially little David "his shadow"! His laugh would fill a room.  He was very caring and would help someone in a heartbeat. He was an organ donor, and gave the gift of life to two people in need. David said, "I was born and raised and will remain a dolphin fan for life, Go Fins!"  He adored his dad and is in heaven catching a mahi with him!  He was a Christian and loved the Lord and is now at peace with him for ever and ever.
