Our Beloved Dorothy Jean Leonowicz of Port Richey, FL (formerly of Manchester, CT); born August 20, 1964, and called home too soon on February 11, 2016. Dorothy was the loving wife of Robert J. Leonowicz, her soul mate of 34 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Sylvia Stratton.Dorothy was the devoted mother of Steven Leonowicz and his wife, Kristen, of Senoia, GA, and David Leonowicz and his wife, Valerie, of Port Richey, FL, and the loving grandmother of Karina and Tyler Leonowicz. Dorothy would often say that out of all her life's accomplishments, her two loving sons were her greatest masterpiece. Dorothy was unwaveringly loyal and passionate in the support of her family and those that she loved. Her outgoing personality, positive outlook, and infectious laugh could instantly light up a room. She always fought for the underdog and made countless friends for life with her loving and cheerful ways.Dorothy worked as an experienced sales representative for Foley's in Glastonbury, CT, winning multiple awards and the respect of her peers for her dedicated service and work ethics. She was passionate about life and succeeded in everything she put her mind to. The word "no" or "can't" was never in her vocabulary. Dorothy's greatest joys in life were boating with her husband, biking, walking the beach, playing scrabble, making home cooked meals for her family, and bragging about her sons and grandchildren. When she loved something or someone, her passion would always win you over.Dorothy leaves behind her siblings James W. Stratton of Clearwater, FL, Carole Shaw of Wallingford, CT, John R.
