Helen Catherine Nichol, 61 of Palm Harbor, FL entered to eternal rest on November 10, 2015. Preceded in death by the late John and Olga (Zalumas)Leskanic and her brother John Andrew Leskanic.Survived by her beloved husband; Robert Nichol; Two Children Alyssa and Robert Andrew Nichol; Sister Dorothy Hancock (Don)of Thomasville, GA and brother; William Leskanic (Lori) of Monticello, FL. Born in Thomasville Georgia, Helen grew up and went to school in Monticello, FL. She graduated from Jefferson County High School and attended Tallahassee Community College where she completed her Emergency Medical Technician Certification. She also worked for the State of Florida in the Division of Transportation and Traffic Operations.Helen moved to Pinellas County, Florida in 1980, married and worked for Pinellas Ambulance Service, Lake Seminole Hospital and Clearwater Community Hospital prior to starting a family.She returned to work in 2000 at Sutherland Elementary School and later at Leila Davis Elementary School. She retired in the Spring of 2015. Memorial Services to be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at St. Matthias Lutheran Church located at 2751 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759.
