Hong Sun Colson (Chong), 62, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on January 26, 2013 at Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, FL.The memorial service will be held on February 4, 2013, 3:00p.m. at International Funeral Home, 2689 Sunset Pt. Rd., Clearwater, FL 33759. Rev. Marvin Shepherd will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by International Funeral Home. Hong was born in Chungnam-do, Korea on May 15, 1950. Hong was married to Booker T. Colson, II on July 25, 1980; they were married 32 years. Hong lived for her family and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed politics, jewelry, and caring for her family.Hong is survived by her husband, Booker T. Colson II; daughter Kim Bryant; son, Booker T. Colson III; grandson Booker T. Colson IV; granddaughter Naomi Colson; and other family and friends.Hong is preceded in death by her father, Chun Nam Yi and mother, Ul Sun Yi.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Suncoast Hospice Foundation: 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760, or online at thehospicefoundation.org.
