Joseph "Joe" Charles Regnier V

November 1, 1949 - April 30, 2022

Joseph “Joe” Charles Regnier V was a caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He left this world suddenly on April 30th at age 72. Joe retired to sunny Clearwater, Florida and fully enjoyed retirement. He enjoyed visiting with the neighbors, his walks, taking care of his two cats and spending time with his church family and catching up with his loved ones when possible. He was an eccentric soul; he could be silly and funny as well as a true class act - putting on a suit and tie for each church holiday and replacing the U.S. flag that flew in his association when it became tattered. He was proud of his country and he himself had a long distinguished military career having followed in his own father’s footsteps. He was a watercraft operator in the US Army and was proud of having chosen this position for himself. To know Mr. Joe, was to know he was inquisitive, kind and always curious. He wasn’t shy to ask questions and he wasn’t hesitant to become your friend. He enjoyed his remote control model planes and belong to a local club. He enjoyed being active and meeting new people. He is survived by his daughter Christine Regnier of Hereford, AZ and his son Joseph Regnier VI of Frazee, MN. He is survived by his grandson Gabriel Rittenour of Vegas, MN and granddaughter Kathryne Taylor of Hereford, AZ. As well as his great- grandchildren Maximus Taylor and Misha Stoner, and three sisters Frances Dunn of Trenton, IL, Mary Lindquist of Park Rapids, MN and Joan (Roger) Jantzen of Dodge Center, MN. Joe was proceeded in death by his brother, Francis Regnier and his parents, Bertha and Joseph Regnier IV. He was preceded in death by his partner Brad Hodges. A funeral service is scheduled for 1 pm on May 17, 2022 at Countryside Christian church at 1850 N McMullen Booth Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
