Vera Geistwhite, 92 of Palm Harbor, Fl., and Kankakee, IL, died 9/2/2012. She was born 6/21/1920, in Latham, Alberta, Canada. She was married on 5/15/1948 in Kankakee, IL., A loving devoted wife of 64 plus years to her surviving caring, dedicated husband John, who pampered her for many years. Dedicated, caring, unconditionally, loving mother to her 3 children and families. Daughter and care giver for many years, Kathy Bradley, of Clearwater, Fl., son's, Kim John and wife Delynn, of Kankakee, IL., Lee and Sherry MacMillan of 29 Palms, Ca. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Ryan and Heather Geistwhite of Kankakee, IL., Kyle and Cari Geistwhite of Joliet, IL., Sean and Mandi Geistwhite of Bradley, IL., Alex Geistwhite of Limestone, IL., Scott MacMillan of Wisconsin, Sherron and Larry Curtis of Las Vegas, NV., 9 Great Grand children, Catlynn, Cameron and Conner Geistwhite of Kankakee, IL., Carter Geistwhite of Joliet, IL., Ethan and Jax Geistwhite of Bradley, IL., Megan (Jon) Micheals, Brandon and Christopher Curtis all of Las Vegas, NV., Vera work 36 years for Illinois Bell Telephone Company as an Operator and Senior Plant assigner. She was a member of Mills School Mothers Club and Illinois Bell Pioneers Club. Vera enjoyed playing cards, garage saling, water skiing, camping, traveling, making macramAC. chairs, fishing, beaches, dolphins and cats. Most of all she is survived by her protective, loving Siamese furry friends, Gabby Girl, Goofy and grand cats, Bandit and Tattles Tails, which added years and joy to her life. Visitation will be held at International Funeral Home, 2689 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Fl., on Tuesday September 11th, from 6:00-8:00 pm, with Graveside services being conducted at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Bushnell, Fl., on Wednesday September 12th, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Suncoast Animal League, 1030 Pennsylvania Ave., Palm Harbor, Fl., 34683
