William H. "Black Cat" James, was born November 15, 1957 in Anniston, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents William "Uncle Biddy" and Bernice "Aunt Sister" James, birth mother, Alma Weeks and Uncle, Willie C. Weeks. William attended Anniston High School from 1975 - 1977 where he was known as a football and track star. William's quote for his senior year was "Bravery Never Goes out of Style" which describes William perfectly. William met his wife Heidi in 1984 while she was visiting her sister in Anniston. The couple later moved to Palm Harbor, FL together where they lived until his death on July 16, 2015.William is survived by his loving wife Heidi, two beloved daughters; Kimya and Keisha and two sons; Tavasea and Andrew. Also survived by two dear Granddaughters, Jordyn and Mackenzie. William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.A Celebration of Life party will be held for William at the VFW Post 2550, 360 Douglas Ave, Dunedin, FL 34698 on August 15, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
