William Paul Kirbas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Paul Kirbas departed this life at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL on June 18, 2017. He was born in Orange, NJ to Paul and Constance Fillos Kirbas. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dolores Scharwath Kirbas of Largo, FL and two brothers, John (Marie) of Whiting, NJ and Enuel (Caroline) of Dallas, GA, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated East Orange High School in 1944. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University and attended Neward College of Engineering. He was a Mason and served the US Army in the Signal Corps. He lived most of his life in Parsippany, NJ until retiring from Interpace as Plant Manager. He and his wife moved to Cleawater Beach FL. There he became active in the community and was a founding member of the Jolly Trolley. In July of 2016 they moved to Brookdale-Pinecrest in Largo, FL. He will be remembered for his love of tennis, soft ball and partaking of fine wines. He was the patriarch of his family and was the family historian. He took pride in his home and garden. He was a mentor to many. To honor his request, no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
