Eliseo “Lee” Lenoce, 64
September 7, 1955 – July 23, 2020
Lee Lenoce, 64, of Safety Harbor, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 23, 2020.
He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on September 7, 1955 to George and Julia Lenoce. The youngest of three siblings (Linda and George). Lee was a graduate of Cheshire Academy and Southern Connecticut State University.
In 1983 he followed his parents to Florida where they owned and operated Bayboro Marine in St. Petersburg. This is where he began a life long love of sailing and lead him to becoming a member of the Windjammers.
In 1997, Lee opened Lenoce's Family Restaurant, an Oldsmar staple for nearly 15 years where you could always find family and friends.
A true mechanic, there wasn't much Lee did not know about cars or motorcycles. A lover of Harley Davidson's and old sports cars, Lee always had a project vehicle to keep him busy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and nephew, Jay Barrett. Survivors include his daughters, Leigh Marie Lenoce and Nancy “Luli” Diaz; his brother George and his wife Trish; sister, Linda Greenwood and her husband, Bobby; stepmother Joi Lenoce and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was an amazing dad, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed.
The family is very sorry, but due to the local mandates, Lee's Celebration of Life will be a private event.
