Henry “Hank” Morris, Wing Commander, RCAF Retd, died peacefully on 11 July 2021 at the age of 85. Having enjoyed a full career of 33 years with the RCAF serving on 5 squadrons as well as 5 tours of duty with the United Nations Peacekeeping missions. Having been born in Barcelona, Spain, moved to England in 1938, and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He was most proud of being a Canadian.
Hank’s legacy lives in the hearts and memories of Melba, his wife of 30 years, children, Steven and Jennifer, granddaughter Isabella Marina, and children from his deceased wife Sylvia, Dianne and Steven, and grandchildren Brett, Mathew, Reed, and Samuel. Loving brother of Hector Morris.
Hank settle in Safety Harbor, where he enjoyed walks at the Philippe Park, hosting friends in his lovely home, and catching the horse races at the Tampa Bay Downs. He was a fascinating man with a captivating story. His favorite quotation was from Helen Keller “Life is either an exciting adventure…or it is nothing.”
The family is grateful for the thoughtfulness and caring support from their many friends and neighbors.
Service and celebration of Hank’s Life will be announced in due course.
