Betty Jean Cline

March 1, 1938 – December 15, 2020

Cline, Betty Jean, 82, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.  Betty was preceded in death by her her husband, David, and her precious eldest daughter Connie.  Betty is survived by her four remaining children, Mike Jones, Carol Hamilton, Cathy Jones, and Sheila Donahey, 2 in-laws, Suzy Jones and Daniel Donahey, 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jason, Nicholas, Brooks, Jessica, Devin, Bailey and Alden. Betty also has 9 great-grandchildren and 3 surviving brothers, Jerry Proffit, Bill Proffit, and Roger Proffit, as well as many extended family members that were very dear to her heart.

She loved watching the sunset, walking the shoreline looking for seashells, and night time drives.

Betty had an inner light that outshone us all.  Family was always put first.  She is and will always be missed each and every moment. Her smile will forever be our guiding light.

We are holding a Celebration of Life to honor Betty Jean Cline on January 23, 2021 at the VA Memorial Park, Shelter 5,  at 12pm.
